leguillemet asked: What's your least favorite emotion?
Anger, in both myself and others.
I don’t usually get angry, but when I do, I erupt like a volcano. There is often so much going on behind it, and it’s painful and exhausting. It’s a complicated emotion that’s usually tinged with irrationality, which may lead to regret and shame.
I don’t like it when others get angry either, because 1) it’s scary to watch, 2) sometimes their honest feelings burst out in their anger, which may inflict pain on others, 3) it’s probably painful for them too.
forgottenalley asked: What is the point of life?
Nothing.
You have the freedom to decide that for yourself.
Anonymous asked: what are you looking forward to the most in college
independence.
ericch asked: What keeps you creative?
Here’s some advice to aspiring artists: if you’re trying to be creative, don’t try so hard to look for it. Whenever I try looking for creativity and attempt to force it out, the work is mediocre at best. I find that the best creativity comes to you when you least expect it. Most of the art I do is based on stuff I’m interested in anyways, and the things I find interesting inspire me which leads to creativity I guess
musingsofthebigboo asked: describe your ideal morning routine.
800 AM - wake up
805 AM - actually get out of bed
806 AM - freshening up
810 AM - get dressed
820 AM - go for a walk
845 AM - breakfast
930 AM - read/errands
Sounds kind of boring (lol) but it’s actually something nice due to my mornings always being harried, with my mom yelling at me for some inane reason
Watched the documentary about Helvetica earlier and was really amazed of the typeface from then and now. I was surprised that I’m part of the Helvetica revolution, where designers are sick of the neutral. Nevertheless, Helvetica was a great font. I agree about making the contents speak and not the type. Its just that it became too main stream and other designers want a more ‘un-neutral’ feel.
